And doors left ajar,

Forgotten souls

Staring from afar.

VHS tapes,

Blue ripped jeans

Cracked plates,

And old movie screens.

Dollhouses

And trading cards,

Vinyl records and

Roofless cars.

Big white pearls

With black dresses,

Small town murders

And baseless guesses.

Birds are soaring

As I drown

And my lungs are roaring

As the world turns brown.

Vintage

Depressing and old,

Describes the age

Of these stories told.
