Listen to Mother

for why is it calming

the sound of birds gliding through small leaves

with slow chatter of human voices so distanced yet so heard

and the godly sun slightly hiding behind clouds

to not blind the eyes of those below

but still blessing them with colours

when all is in great balance 

for no sound is overbearing 

and disrupt the harmony

of nature's most graceful notes

surely it requires strength

to be silent and be attentive  

to otherworldly being

except for oneself 

when listening to the mother speaks
