Faceless Lady

Tis the rainy season,

Tis the darkest of reason,

Tis a horrifying prison for the faceless lady who was said to have willingly drunk poison.

She glides,

She hovers,

She wails,

She smothers.

Her face white, yet grey.

Her eyes black, yet blue and green.

Her mouth thin, yet plump.

Her nose sharp, yet non-existing.

Her blurry figure creates fear,

Her haunting reflection can be seen in the mirror,

Tis the face of the lady whom she fears,

as she stares in the mirror,

She was faced with no distinct features.
